BOYS BASKETBALL CLINIC #2 2014
As basketball season has started, it's time for some extra clinics in addition to your normal team work. There will be a boys (grades 1-8) youth basketball clinic on Sunday, January 5, 2014, from 1-4pm conducted by CHS head coach Mike Troy, with the coaching staff and CHS boys’ basketball team. The cost is $40 per player. Mail in registrations should be received by 1/3/14. The November clinic sold out - so don't miss this one!

The list* below is an attempt to provide you with the names of local programs
if your child is interested in these additional basketball experiences. The
Paoli Wildcats league does not advocate one particular program over any others.
For verification of the quality of these programs please ask your friends or
contact the programs themselves for
references. Please do NOT contact the Wildcats for specific information about any
of the programs listed below.

SUMMER 2013 BASKETBALL CAMPS/CLINICS (All listed below have been confirmed for 2013 details. Check back for the possible posting of additional camps.)

- Sixers Camps - (boys and girls); full and half day; from 5-17 years; assorted weeks, many assorted locations - including Valley Forge Military Academy, Church Farm School, and West Chester East HS, register online or call 610-668-7676.
- Sky High Basketball Camp (Girls and boys) (run by John Jones, Conestoga High School Varsity Girls Coach) -for ages 6-13; $275/week; both sessions from 9-2; two different day camps for boys held at VFMS (July) or CHS (Aug); for girls at St. Monica's Church; contact Coach Jones at 610-405-6181 or skyhighcamps@gmail.com for more information.

- Tredyffrin Township Basketball Camps - morning day camps (9:00-1:00) held at Teegarden Park in assorted weeks in July for boys or girls (separate camps), for students in grades 3 through 9; call 610-505-0643 for more information, or email us. (from basic township website - link with "Services" - "Park and Recreation" - "Camps/Recreation"); applications can be downloaded from the township website or picked up at the township office; will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis; camps are open to both Tredyffrin and Easttown residents (cost is lower for Tredyffrin residents). Camps fill very quickly. Registration starts in early April.
- Upper Main Line YMCA - boys and girls ages 6-12; weeklong, full day or half day camps - most are combined with other sports; can register on-line or call 610-647-YMCA x2511; registration begins in January.

SPRING/SUMMER 2013 AAU PROGRAMS
- Comets (Delaware Valley Basketball Association) - AAU program for girls ages 10-16; tryouts in late January/early February, teams play an average of 6-8 tournaments on weekends starting in April; practices are 2-3 days/week; contact them at cometsaau@yahoo.com.

- Philadelphia Belles - year-round AAU program based in the Philadelphia region and surrounding suburbs; high level program for girls ages 10-18; contact bellesevents@aol.com for info; tryouts for summer program in January and February.

SUMMER 2013 BASKETBALL LEAGUES & SPECIAL PROGRAMS
- Billy Lake Summer League - girls only; 6th -11th grades; games played in Drexel Hill area; register in January and February; individual players only - no team registrations; very competitive league; email at billylakeals@verizon.net for more information.
- Narberth Summer Outdoor League (boys) - 7th grade (currently) through 12th grade (currently); runs mid May-end of July; games played outdoors in the evenings; contact the borough of Narberth, 610-644-1080 (100 Conway Ave, Narberth 19072), no later than early January to get information as to how to join this league. League fills quickly. (Applications also on website starting January 1or at many local schools.). Email kazball@msn.com for additional information.
- Narberth Summer Outdoor League (girls) - 6th grade (currently) through 12th grade (currently); contact the borough of Narberth, 610-644-1080 (100 Conway Ave, Narberth), no later than early January to get information as to how to join this league. Contact Us link available on the website. Registration is on-line only and begins the December before the upcoming summer! League fills quickly.
- Great Valley Summer League Basketball - runs from mid June through early August, for boys and girls in grades K-12; all games held Mon through Thur evenings at GVBL Center.
- Teegarden Summer League - boys entering grades 8-12; Tredyffrin Township residents given first priority; games played one or two nights/week at Teegarden Park in Berwyn throughout the summer; league runs mid June - early August; applications can be downloaded online or by stopping by the Tredyffrin Township office; call 610-505-0643 for more information or email us.
