new players

New players MUST REGISTER IN PERSON at the date listed above. Registration and medical forms will be available AT registration. You may find it convenient to download and complete the forms in advance (see below). NEW PLAYER REGISTRATION FORMS WILL BE ACCEPTED BY MAIL ONLY AFTER REGISTRATION IS COMPLETED ON OCTOBER 6. The later you come to this registration, the greater the possibility an age group will be filled.

Girls division-new players:
All new players for Juniors, Seniors, and Varsity age groups are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis on the registration date above. Once an age group is full, new players go on a waiting list. In the event a new player can not come on October 6- a registration form can be mailed in. However, please remember that these forms will be accepted in the order they are received, and only AFTER the regular registration is complete on October 6.
Boys division-new players:
Juniors
Nine year olds: There are about 60 places for new 9-year old players.
All 9-yr old players will be accepted on a "first-come,
first-served basis on the registration date above.
Ten year olds: There is a limited number of places for new 10-year
old players. Because the number of places is small, players will be randomly
selected (such as an "out of the hat" method). It is not
required for you to be first in line at registration - the final selections
for 10 yr old players will be made after registration is over.
Seniors
There are some openings for new players in the Senior boys division. All
new players for the Seniors go on a waiting list. Players will be randomly
selected (such as an "out of the hat" method). It is not
required for you to be first in line at registration - the final selections
for senior players will be made after registration is over.

returning players
Fee: $110
- Junior girls; $130 - Senior and Varsity girls; $127.50 - Jr. boys; $137.50
Senior boys
The league will consider requests for financial assistance. Make checks payable
to the Paoli Basketball Club.

Registration forms: All returning GIRLS will receive a registration form in the mail which must be returned by mail and RECEIVED ON OR BEFORE WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 3, 2007 in order to hold the players spot in the league for the current season. All returning BOYS will receive a registration form in the mail which must be returned by mail and RECEIVED ON OR BEFORE FRIDAY, OCTOBER 5 in order to hold the players spot in the league for the current season.Registration forms should be mailed (along with the Medical Release form and proper payment) to:

| If registration form, medical form, and payment are not RECEIVED ON OR BEFORE the deadline (Oct 3rd- girls; Oct. 5th - boys), a returning player will be treated as a new player and it is possible there will not be room in the age group for that player in the 2007/2008 season. | |
Returning players may bring their forms to the in-person registration on October 6th. Please note, however, that any returning player's forms received after the deadline will not be given returning player priority.
General
Registration Information For All Players
Residency: Registrations for new players is limited to those families residing in Charlestown, Easttown, East Whiteland, Malvern, Tredyffrin, or Willistown townships.
Help needed: Sponsors ($100 each), coaches, assistant
coaches, and other volunteers are always welcome. Please indicate your interest
on your child's registration form or contact us (boys) / contact
us (girls) if you want to help in any way.
Requirements:
All players should indicate the size of their jersey (t-shirt) on
the registration form.
Tryouts: ALL registered players are required to participate in tryouts, which are used to balance the teams.
Program commitment: It
is very important that all players who register have
schedules that will permit them to attend the majority of
practices and games. While we encourage players to be
well-rounded, frequent conflicts with indoor soccer,
winter swimming, school plays, etc. can be especially disruptive
to a team.
Team selection: Each team roster is new each year.
